Welcome to Hindley Green Family Church

 We meet at The Bethel Community Centre, Atherton Road, ( A577) Hindley Green, WN2 4SQ

Our name, Hindley Green Family Church clearly states our vision to reach the people of our town. We proclaim faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation. Even our faith is not something we can boast about, it is a gift from God.

HGFC manages the community centre known as the Bethel where we meet and make it available to the public for many different uses. There is a Sunday Service each week at 10.45AM.  We enjoy lively singing and good solid Bible teaching and are open to the moving of the Holy Spirit and the use of His gifts. People are welcome to stay afterwards and chat over coffee and cakes.

On Tuesday nights at 7.30 we have the midweek meeting when we gather together to worship and praise, to share testimony and pray together about the needs of our  community. You can relax, share your needs and receive prayer in a more informal setting than on a Sunday morning. Join us on Tuesday and see how you like it.  

We aim to serve  families and we have lively childrens and youth groups. We believe that the family is God's plan and the best foundation for a successful community. We recognise the Bible also says "He sets the lonely in families" and we welcome single people and aim to look after them too.

We believe that whatever has happened in our past, however sinful we may have been God is still our Father and wants His children to come home. The repentant heart always finds forgiveness from the heart of God and we must do all we can to forgive one another.

The only hope for the future of our nation is for our children to be taught to know, respect and worship God through His son Jesus Christ. Everything else has been tried and has failed.
